There I laid, gasping for breath,
Injured in body and wounded by spirit,
Awaiting my dawdling burning death
In a manner some would consider a merit.
The trenches were our abode of affliction
Where ceaseless blasting of grenades slay
Courageous foes in discretion,
Never again to see another ghastly day.
Agitated soldiers waiting in boredom and fear
To meet their loved ones in the afterlife
Where sadness and affection bring down tears
That will never forget such strife.
Our enemy is not to blame for the warfare,
As they too have a duty to undertake,
Given by those egotistical stout generals that don't care
About their men but abo
Cracks scattered, life shattered on the broken terrain
Dying whispers of joy washed away by the rain
Trees once strong now lie snapped by the earth
Like a limp mother's body moments after birth
Voices were calmed with the coming of cloud
Lives broken in half, lips move with no sound
Young faces watch on, some living, some dead
All craving sleep with skin soaked in deep red
Blood dripping, eyes open, thick scars, hope lost
Raptures blow like flames glow through pain while most
Let clearest tears slip down from their guiltless eyes
Watching on while lips shiver and empty hearts cry
Lives fade out like fires that die into black

Loss Of An Angel Short Version
There was a lass that once comfort me
She was as fine as all could be
She came to my aid when nights were tough
To comfort thee and make me laugh
My heart would break if she was stone
Since I would die and be alone
If this was to be;
There would be no life left to see
But God forbid that ever come
So that we both can live like some
Oh sometimes I do stop and pray
To hope we will unite one day
If our souls ever will be gone
I hope that they become of one
When we hold our babe of joy to come
Let's hope he be a handsome one
We've lived a short but happy life
To you I rejoice; my wife
There never was a lass so fine
That I have
Maybe it was fate that brought me to this place of study
To be ravished and abused for my deformed body
As I only had one arm
That was to be my savior,
But it was the start of my rejection,
Stood here idle in the wet playing fields, feeling dejection
I was humble and gentle as I longed to find a friend of my kind,
But instead these toddlers grimaced in disgust for I could not find
A friend, but instead their
Maddening laughter as they called me
Wretch, tyrant or beast as they scampered wildly around me
For I was broken and could only weep graceful tears for all to see
They soon departed with heavenly smiles and joyful tones

Hi everyone,
I hope I am posting this in the correct section. I'm doing an experimental research on customer loyalty and online shopping as part of the requirements of my MBS in Marketing at the Waterford Institute of Technology in Waterford, Ireland.
I would really appreciate if you could all fill in my survey. The survey is located on my Twitter which is at the top of this post. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. I really appreciate everyone's help on this matter. I'm looking for 300 responses over a 3 week duration so hopefully I can achieve that target. Also if anyone knows any other
